Sunday, December 21, 2014: (Fourth Sunday of Advent)
Jesus said: “My people, I am showing you a well dressed person in their casket to emphasize that you cannot take your accumulated wealth past the grave. Many people in life measure a successful person by how much money they have. I look at each person’s heart, and I measure your spiritual success by your love for Me and your neighbor in your good works. It is your treasure in heaven that is more valuable than any amount of treasure in this life. So seek My Kingdom first, and I will provide for all of your needs. Have trust in Me every day to get you through life, and do not depend on your wealth, which can be lost or stolen. Your priest’s homily mentioned the materialism of your society, especially around Christmas. Focus more on My coming, instead of all the gifts that you buy people. You should always remember that My birth is the reason for the Christmas Season.”
