Sunday, October 14, 2018:

Jesus said: “My people, in today’s Gospel a rich man asked Me ‘What must I do to gain eternal life?’ I told him to follow My Commandments of loving Me and loving his neighbor. I also told him that he could give his possessions to the poor and follow Me. But he went away sad because he had many possessions that he did not want to give up. I told My apostles that it is more difficult for the rich people to come to heaven because they do not want to be humble in giving up their possessions. In life you will suffer as I did, and you would rather depend on Me to provide for your needs, than depend on your wealth. I can help you out of love, but your wealth is cold and can be stolen. I can do the impossible to help you, which is more dependable that wealth that can dissipate and be lost. Let Me lead you in life by giving up your will to follow My Divine Will. This is how you can labor in the world to help save souls, and share your wealth and your faith.”
