Any time a soul consciously chooses not to live in Holy Love in the present moment, he has desecrated the moment at hand. You say, 'But I try always to live in Holy Love.' Remember, my messenger, the just man falls many times a day."
"The soul profanes the present moment when he consciously puts himself and his own desires at the center of his heart instead of God and neighbor. Perhaps his reputation has been damaged, and instead of asking God to forgive the slanderers, he becomes enraged and seeks justice. Perhaps he seeks some material thing that appeals to his senses and places the acquisition of this thing at the center of his heart above God and neighbor. Perhaps he is ambitious for success, money and power, and thinks of nothing else."
